The Nobel Tutoring Service is nerdy.nel’s brand of professional tutoring, specializing in mathematics, statistics, and standardized test prep. Nobel is certified by the National Tutoring Association as an Advanced-level professional tutor. Nobel delivers over 20 years of cumulative tutoring experience, a strong work ethic, patience, diligence, and passion in every tutoring session. Nobel’s proven track record of improved academic performance and increased understanding of coursework has led to long-lasting friendships and continual recommendations from tutees, parents, and faculty.

Professional Tutoring – services include classwork review, homework help, topic mastery, and practice problems for the following:
- Mathematics – all levels up to Calculus III
- Statistics – all levels up to college-level statistics
Professional Test Prep – services include test-taking strategies, sample test problems, and simulated tests (within allotted session time), for the following:
- New York State standardized math tests, grades 3 through 8
- Regents exams in Algebra I and II, and Geometry
- Standardized primary school, high school, and college entrance exams
- Advanced Placement (AP) exams in mathematics and statistics
Nobel divides tutorial services into four payment tiers – Primary, Intermediate, Collegiate, and Advanced. For more information on Nobel’s tutorial services, download the 2024-2025 brochure and refer to section [3.0].

Service Fee
$5 or 5.0% of the total bill – whichever is greater. Nobel waives this fee if you pay your bill with cash or Zelle.
Cancellation Fee
$0 if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance
$25 if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance
Nobel accepts various forms of payment, including cash (in-person tutoring sessions only), Zelle, Cash App, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and debit, credit, and prepaid cards. Nobel accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express cards. Nobel offers three types of discounts – a group tutoring discount, a referral discount, and a loyalty discount. Note: From Monday through Thursday, there is limited availability on evenings for virtual tutoring only. Available days and times will vary weekly and not all days may be available. You must contact Nobel to book appointments on these days – they cannot be booked online.
