[About Nobel]

The Nobel Tutoring Service is nerdy.nel’s brand of professional tutoring – mainly in mathematics and statistics. Nobel is certified at the Advanced level by the National Tutoring Association. Nobel brings over 17 years of tutoring experience, a strong work ethic, patience, diligence, and passion to every tutoring session. Nobel’s proven track record of improved academic performance and increased understanding of coursework has led to long-lasting friendships and continual recommendations from tutees, parents, and faculty.

[Tutorial Services]

Professional Tutoring – services include classwork review, homework help, topic mastery, and practice problems for the following:

  • Mathematics – all levels up to Calculus II
  • Statistics – all levels up to college-level statistics
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Professional Test Prep – services include test-taking strategies, sample test problems, and mock exams (including score reports) for the following:

  • New York State math and Regents exams
  • High school and college entrance exams
  • Advanced Placement (AP) exams
  • Graduate Record Exam (GRE)

Nobel divides tutorial services into two tiers – Primary and Advanced. Mock exams in the Primary tier are further divided into two groups – Group 1 and Group 2. For more information, please download the 2021-2022 brochure and refer to section [3.0].

Monday through Thursday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Sunday and select holidays: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Note: Nobel’s services are unavailable on restricted dates, which are listed below.

  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day – December 24th – 25th, 2021
  • New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day – December 31st, 2021 and January 1st, 2022
  • Memorial Day – May 30th, 2022
  • Juneteenth – June 19th, 2022
  • Independence Day – July 4th, 2022

  • October 14th, 2021
  • October 17th through October 21st, 2021
  • October 24th through October 26th, 2021

Cancellation Fee

if you cancel at least 24 hours in advance

Nobel offers various discounts, including bundles and packages for one-on-one tutoring sessions, a group discount for group sessions consisting of two to 5 tutees, and a loyalty discount for regular tutees. Nobel accepts various forms of payment, including Zelle, Cash App, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and debit, credit, and prepaid cards.
